Solution Architect - Web - Remote

Are you looking for a fresh challenge or being forced to be back in the office again when you've just got your work life balance sorted?  A truly globally brand is looking for a Web/eCommerce Solution Architect to join its expanding team as it continues to evolve and working on new products and initiatives towards customer experience.  This role is part of a new customer experience project as part of a global digital transformation.  Working the Architectural team, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing to life multiple new digital strategies across the business, the business already has over 700m visits per annum and generates over £5b in revenue.

 

As a Solution Architect you will act as the technical design and architecture authority, provide technical leadership, continuously look for ways to simplify and rationalise the technology stack.  You must be competent in working within an international agile environment and working on large-scale and cloud-based technology stacks, as well as manage/work closely with senior technology and business stakeholders.

 

The ideal candidate will be from a development background (Full-Stack) and be able to demonstrate working on service-based architecture, understands monolith applications, API's, design patterns, open web standards, back-end and cloud.  Priority will be given to those with a strong Frontend approach, must understand modern software approaches (CI/CD, TDD etc.)

 

Role can be based anywhere within Europe, base circa £80-85k
