Our client is embarking on a major phase of growth and development, the tech team is already 55 strong, they now need to hire a Head of Engineering to help support the growth, development and implement processes and procedures in to the team for all software and infrastructure projects. You will help shape and guide the technology roadmao to ensure it meets with business needs, there are currentl multiple streams of work and more in the roadmap.
The aim is to create innovative and pioneering technology for their customers and clients.
The architecture consists of APIs structured as microservices hosted on the Google Cloud platform, some of the tech stack used involves React/Redux, NodeJS, GraphQL, Mocha, Python and MySQL
About you, experienced in implementing sound engineering practices, able to deliver scalable and robust software, leading both on-shore and off-shore teams, ability to act as a coach/mentor, able to make strategic decisions and influence stakeholders at all levels and thrive on managing multiple workstreams and teams
